Nominations open for Pride of Workmanship Awards 2011

On behalf of the Rotary Club of Coffs Harbour Daybreak, we announce that Nominations are now open for the 2010 Pride of Workmanship Awards.

What to do:
Nominate someone who you think displays qualities worthy of such an award.

• Early nominations will ensure maximum media exposure – the event and all nominees will be promoted in the Coffs Coast Independent Newspaper

• Get your tickets to the Presentation Dinner - available at Coffs C.ex Club - limited tickets so get in early!

• Nominations close Friday 11th November 2011. Nomination is free. Complete the nomination form online -http://www.coffsharbourdaybreak.org/nominate

Why - Objectives of the Program:

• To promote Vocational Service and encourage Pride of Workmanship in all vocations.
• To provide employers with an opportunity to recognize employees who display the qualities worthy of an Award.
• To encourage a sense of community pride in individual achievement.
• To promote Rotary in the business community.
• To provide businesses and organisations with an opportunity for promotion within the community and through NBN, The Independent and our Pride of Workmanship brochure.
• To create Rotary Bursaries for further training and/or study expenses.

Publicity:

• This year we will be conducting a Coffs Coast Independent Readers Choice Award, where the general public can vote for the person who has given them a ‘real-life’ good service experience
• The Independent Newspaper will be running editorial and advertising using nominees as they come in.
• Rotary will develop a brochure recognising all nominees which will be distributed at our Presentation Dinner.

Presentation Dinner:

• A Presentation Dinner will be held on the 30th November 2011 at the Coffs C.ex Club. 6.30pm 3 Course Dinner & Entertainment
• Dinner will cost $55 per person - we suggest you pay for your nominee. Tickets are available now at the Coffs C.ex Club.

Sponsorship:  Share in the Community exposure and support our efforts to reward good vocational service
This year we are calling for interested parties to sponsor the event. There are three Sponsorship categories to choose from:

• Platinum sponsor $2,000
• Gold sponsor $1,000
• Silver sponsor $300

All sponsorships will assist in the purchase of trophies for the nominees and event costs. In return for sponsorship we will market your business during the two month marketing program, providing further recognition in the community for your business and certainly a sense of pride in being an active partner in this event.
