Rotary provides reliable water to Vanuatu Villages.

Rotarians from Coffs Harbour in conjunction with Rotary Australia World Community Service (RAWCS) co-ordinators have pleasure in announcing the completion of a project on Tanna Island in Vanuatu that will markedly improve the lives of people living in 7 cultural villages.

Rotarians from Coffs Harbour have provided the funding for the acquisition and installation of a submersible Bore pump and 10 000 litre water tank, both valued at $5000 for completing a safe water system for Lenamar Community, which supports 7 cultural villages. The following clubs of District 9650 Cluster 1, Coffs Harbour, Coffs Harbour City, Coffs Harbour Daybreak and Coffs Harbour South each donated $1000 towards the cost of these items, while the Lenamar Community contributed $1000 for the poly pipe and the Vanuatu Govt drilled the bore shaft.
