Pride of Workmanship Awards

 

"Pride of Workmanship" - the sense of responsibility to do a job well is one of the greatest intangible assets in our community.

 

Who:

Nominate individuals, employees and/or volunteers for our "Pride of Workmanship" Awards.

 

Why - Objectives of the Program:

  • To promote Vocational Service and encourage Pride of Workmanship in all vocations.
  • To provide employers with an opportunity to recognize employees who display the qualities worthy of an Award.
  • To encourage a sense of community pride in individual achievement.
  • To promote Rotary in the business community.
  • To provide businesses and organisations with an opportunity for promotion within the community and through NBN, The Independent and our Pride of Workmanship brochure.
  • To create Rotary Bursaries for further training and/or study expenses.

 

What to do:

Nominate someone who you think displays qualities worthy of such an award.

  • Early nominations will ensure maximum media exposure on NBN Television and the Coffs Independent newspaper.

  • Nominations close 31st October 2009. Nomination is free.

 

Publicity:

  • NBN Television has created a number of TV adverts using images of local businesses and their nominees.
  • The Independent Newspaper will be running editorial and advertising using nominees as they come in.
  • Rotary will develop a brochure recognising all nominees which will be distributed at our Presentation Dinner.

 

Presentation Dinner:

  • A Presentation Dinner will be held on the 25th November 2009 at the Coffs Ex-services Club. 6.30pm 3 Course Dinner & Entertainment by Jesse Emmanuel & Gary Hasseldine.
  • Dinner will cost $45 per person - we suggest you pay for your nominee. Tickets are available now at the Coffs Harbour Ex-services Club.
